Interested in the languages of the astonishing, the invisible and the absurd, Grilo is a performer, composer, poet and improviser. His work focuses on the intersection of music with writing, dance, theatre and cinema.

ivu’kar is a performance about care that develops around a plastic, symbolic, sound and gestural language that the artist creates in collaboration with his mother.  It is a fiction of the real in which they archive the invisible things in their lives, visiting their rituals of mutual care at key moments such as his birth, his mother’s departure and the future.
