Literature is the starting point for the Utopia Festival, which returns on 14 November to various venues across the city.
All literature is utopian, and Utopia encompasses and transcends all types of literature — books in their various formats and media, and books as the centrepiece of other arts and cultural expressions. For this reason, the festival’s programme consists of shows, talks and workshops with renowned authors, exhibitions, literary tours and even proposals for schools, in an effort to encourage contact with the different forms of artistic expression that stem from this everyday object.
