CINEX is the expanded cinema programme line-up of Braga 25, the Portuguese Capital of Culture.
Using film as a means of creative exploration by filmmakers, musicians, writers and artists from different generations, it takes different paths: musical creation and cine-concerts, installation and VJ, re-reading cinematographic works, and discovering experiences based on the use of virtual reality technologies and immersive cinema.
CINEX places Space and Time at a crossroads, linking the project’s actions by occupying exhibition and performance spaces, providing reunions with regular and new audiences. The projects / artists proposed for the various moments of this programme will give it an international dimension, balanced with a focus on the region of Northern Portugal and Galicia.
