Francisco Fontes, a young composer from Braga, has been making a name for himself on the national and international contemporary music scene.
A graduate of the Lisbon School of Music, he went to London to complete his master’s degree in Opera Composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he is still working on his doctorate. His portfolio is diverse, including operas, symphonic works, chamber music, songs, solos and electronics.
