SQUARE connects and celebrates the talent that lives and works within the margins. Focusing on the connection between the continents bathed by the Atlantic (Africa, Americas, and Europe), SQUARE celebrates diversity by creating a networking space for emerging talent and new music trends bursting out of these territories.
Taking place between January 29th and February 1st, 2025, in the Portuguese cities of Braga, Barcelos, Famalicão, and Guimarães, SQUARE connects bands, professionals, and audiences through a programme that includes a convention directed to music professionals, and a series of showcases. Linking those who promote to those who watch, those who create to those that program, those who think to those who implement, SQUARE aims to solidify an ecosystem that can generate new ideas and opportunities, and that reframes the concepts of creativity, success, and career.
Throughout the four days, SQUARE will propose a route of over 50 performances from bands, artists, producers and DJs, in an eclectic proposal that will cover the main tendencies of contemporary music.

SQUARE is part of the program for Braga25, Portuguese Capital of Culture, and has the support of the cities involved.

The PRO pass for SQUARE grants access to all activities taking place over the four days of the event. This includes showcases in the various cities, networking activities, and the full schedule of talks, conferences, and presentations.
Due to the multi-venue format of the event, access to the spaces is subject to capacity limitations.
Holders of the PRO PASS are entitled to:
- Access the full program of the Square Conferences;
- Access the full day and night music program, taking place over the four days of the event in the cities of Braga, Barcelos, Famalicão, and Guimarães;
- Round-trip transfer between the city of Braga and the three partner cities: Barcelos, Famalicão, and Guimarães;
- Networking lunch and dinner on January 29th, 30th, and 31st, 2025;
- Access to the database of professionals attending the event.
