Until January 31 (2024), Creative Europe – the European Union’s programme to support the cultural and creative sectors – is promoting the open calls “European Platforms for the Promotion of Emerging Artists” and “Pan-European Cultural Entities”, two calls dedicated to the training and promotion of emerging European artists.
As part of the CULTURE section of the Creative Europe program, these two calls offer funding for projects that increase European cultural diversity through the training and promotion of emerging European artists.
The first of these calls is based on the “European Platforms for the Promotion of Emerging Artists”, created to support projects that improve the visibility and circulation of up-and-coming artists and their works, seeking their inclusion and internationalization in events and activities within the cultural sector. The initiative involves 80% co-financing for projects with a maximum duration of 4 years.
Still thinking about the access to artistic creation and the training young artists, the Creative Europe programme is promoting a second open call for “Pan-European Cultural Entities”. This is a line of funding that focuses on cultural entities, seeking to support projects that boost the training, professionalization and artistic growth of high-potential young artists. Based on this objective, the call promotes 40% support for projects with a maximum duration of 4 years.
In order to support potential applications to these open calls, there will be an information session on November 29, 2023 entitled “European Platforms + European Networks + Pan-European Entities: why apply or join?“, held online between 14:30 and 16:30. To register for this session, click here.
