This day of commemoration culminates in a large-scale spectacle on Avenida Central, at the end of the day, which invites locals and visitors to gather in the public space. This multidisciplinary creation, conceived by director John Romão, brings together some of today’s most recognised Portuguese musicians, such as fado singer Mariza, singer Dino d’Santiago and singer iolanda, to celebrate national creation and local traditions together with musicians from Braga and other members of the community.
