In 2023, 85,755 tonnes of waste were produced and collected in Braga. This is the starting point for a creation that brings together American artist Allison Orr, from the Forklift Danceworks collective, workers from Agere, Braga’s municipal waste collection company, and the Braga artistic organisation Plataforma do Pandemónio.

At the invitation of Desejar, Allison Orr will direct a participatory performance in which the workers will be the protagonists, sharing their knowledge and professionalism. The performance, which will take place at the Agere shipyard, draws the public’s attention to the fundamental work carried out by these people.

Tickets for the show must be collected on the day at the Desejar box office in Braga’s Municipal Market between 09.30 and 19.30. Leftover tickets can be collected 1 hour before the start of the show at the Agere Yard. The ticket gives you access to the buses that will take the audience to the venue (Mercado Municipal – Estaleiro da Agere – Mercado Municipal). The bus timetable will be revealed later on the website and social media.
