Alexandre Delmar and Maria Ruivo are A Recoletora, an artistic practice dedicated to the study of places and the synergies between human and plant communities. In a project that usually brings together botanists, nutritionists, chefs, artists and designers, A Recoletora aims to recover edible wild plants (popularly called “weeds”) and rehabilitate their reputation, reimagining them and reintegrating them into our diets and eating habits.
Its presence in the Parretas urbanization will translate into a construction open to all, in dialogue with the dynamics of the neighborhood, activating orality and the passing on of knowledge.
