On the last Sunday of each month, the Cravina project offers film screenings at Café 33 that encourage questioning of the current social paradigm and established norms. In November, the film Balada de um Batráquio (Ballad of a Batrachian), winner of a Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival and the award for best short film at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, will be screened.
This documentary by Leonor Teles is an interventionist and social act against the symbolic and real meaning contained in the toad figurines placed at the entrance to homes and commercial establishments.
Cravina: isto não é um cachimbo is part of Braga 25 Portuguese Capital of Culture in the Todo-o-Terreno program.
We are preparing a year-long celebration of national artistic creation, in connection with Europe and with the artists and cultural agents from Braga.
