In this exhibition, part of the Manifesto do Futuro programme, readers from 2025 will create a time capsule for those in the year 2125.
Each book left behind will be accompanied by a message or personal reflection from the visitor, explaining why certain works are fundamental for the libraries of future generations and what they can learn from the 21st century. In this activity for all ages, participants are encouraged to think about the library of tomorrow, with an engaging curatorship designed to include everyone’s literary experiences. This will create a space where the past, present and future meet through books and their stories.
