In the year that Braga is the Portuguese Capital of Culture, Braga em Risco couldn’t fail to have an edition worthy of a Capital of Illustration and the Illustrated Album.
The 9th edition of the illustration festival will present a diverse and powerful programme, with its epicentre at the Tibães Monastery, which will once again be filled with stories, tales, legends and mysteries: some told in words and others in illustrations.
Braga em Risco 2025 will centre on the theme of nature to explore visual poetry and the springtime of ideas, bringing together illustrators, storytellers, writers, artists and musicians from many countries.
