It is said that a young actress, in rehearsal for a play with a Great Actress, confessed her admiration for her. The Great Actress asked if the young actress worked in the theatre and she replied that she acted with her.
The Great Actress replied: ‘Is that so? I’ll notice.’ In this show, created in the context of Braga 25’s creative support programme, Supracasa, Raquel S. and the Noitarder company look at the lives and stories of Portuguese actresses, projecting possible places for us to occupy today. Who were they? What did they do? What quirks, what tics, what techniques have they left behind – or erased – in the history of theatre?
