In the third Roda da Tradição, the purely Minho act of sharing – through conversation, gastronomy and music – continues to be the central role of Clube Raiz.
As part of the Comer a Paisagem (Eating the Landscape) cycle, chef and performer Rui Lemos Souza challenges the community to join him in rediscovering local cuisine through the preparation, tasting, and presentation of a snack of their choice. This is followed by a conversation moderated by programmer and archivist Armando Sousa entitled “What is this braguesa?”, where Luís Capela and B Fachada, musicians, and José Gonçalves, builder, talk passionately about an instrument that stands the test of time and continues to inspire new generations. Saturday afternoon comes to an end with a concert by Origem Tradicional, a major name in traditional Portuguese music and a regular presence on the region’s stages.
