Photographer Miguel De proposes revisiting the legacy of the photographic development shops in Braga’s first-generation shopping centres by developing an analogue photography workshop.
During this workshop, participants will be guided in the creation of images that explore and question the relevance and function of these spaces, both for those who frequent them and for those who work there. All stages of the analogue photographic process will be covered – from planning to developing and scanning – as a tool for investigating and debating the role of these shopping centres in today’s urban context.
