Three unmissable names in Portuguese music — Vítor Rua, Luís San Payo and Tó Trips — come together under the unsettling banner of Sweet Violence. On this journey of experimentation, the trio moves away from the symmetry and predictability of machines and embraces the instability and imperfection so characteristic of living beings.
They turn the stage into a land of metamorphoses: guitars, electronics and percussion crystallise layers of sound that evoke real or imaginary places, places we have already returned to or where we have never been. Accompanied by light and image, the three artists construct a terrain where chaos and delicacy touch with the ferocity of those who dance on the edge of the abyss.
