Desejar is a Movement of Arts and Common Places, which began in 2024 with a series of actions for discussion, creation, programming and knowledge exchange (Assembly and Academy of Desejar).
This project is aimed at the inhabitants of Braga and professionals in the fields of culture, social, education and the environment, around issues raised by the participants. Desejar culminates in a week-long celebration of the arts with a focus on the participatory and community dimensions, in the summer of 2025, created, programmed and produced by the people who took part in the first phase of the programme.
In this first edition, the aim is to experiment with ways of reviving the practice of Desiring as something essential to life, the reinvention of the arts, places and ideas of the common, in connection with the ecosystems of which we are a part.
