The musical heritage of Braga and Minho is the starting point for Roots Club. The programme aims to create an ecosystem for the celebration and promotion of traditional music in the city and region.
This club is built around music, presenting unique concerts in which local groups cross paths with leading national artists, or occupying the public space with street performances by percussion groups from Braga. The act of sharing also takes centre stage, with workshops and a crossover with gastronomy.
Roots Club favours encounters, builds bridges and facilitates an inspiring and enriching dialogue between the different facets of a unique cultural identity. There is also room for thought, with talks and a collectible magazine.
