The programme runs from February to November and features five works from each country, performed by guest artists, followed by a conversation with the play’s author or a person connected to its themes. At the end of the cycle in November, Lígia Soares will present the performance ‘Romance’. Mediated by actor, playwright and researcher Manoel Candeias, the post-reading discussions, open to public participation, will deal with the plays, their themes and the theatrical panorama in which they are inserted.
