– Theatre shows, contemporary circus and urban interventions;
– Walking trails and guided/staged tours.
Sustainable Mobility: TUB tickets at just €1 to facilitate access and reduce the carbon footprint.
First parishes to receive the programme:
– Gualtar – 1 February
– Pedralva – 8th February
– Priscos – 15th February
For the Mayor of Braga, Ricardo Rio, this initiative is an opportunity to reinforce Braga as a cultural reference at national level.
‘Braga, as the Portuguese Capital of Culture in 2025, has a responsibility to show how culture can be truly decentralising, inclusive and transformative,’ he said, noting that Descentrar is a “clear example of our commitment to bringing art and culture to all the parishes, strengthening the sense of belonging and promoting direct contact between communities and their heritage and creativity”.
All events are free of charge. Registrations for workshops, trails and guided tours must be made via the EventBrite platform, except for the ‘Roots Club: Roda da Tradição’ event, which will take place in March.
