Set in a Brazilian metropolis, the text of the play Quase Nada explores themes such as violence, power and moral ambiguity in a society where justice and ethics often fail or come into conflict. With economic dialogues, it progressively reveals the power dynamics and unspoken rules that govern the abyss of class conflict in Brazil, while the characters orbit the death of a young man.

The book builds up an atmosphere of disquiet, where silence and gaps speak as much as words. After the reading, there will be a remote conversation with the author, Marcos Barbosa, mediated by Manoel Candeias.
