Free participation, limited to the capacity of the space and on a first-come, first-served basis at the workshop venue, Largo do Barão de S. Martinho.
On World Photography Day, cyanotype, a 19th century photographic technique known for its characteristic blue tones, will be the starting point for creating original postcards using images from the Braga Municipal Archive’s Photographic Archive.
Participants are invited to explore the photographic collection of this equipment and experiment with this alternative photographic process – from the preparation of the materials to the final development – where the magic of the chemical process reveals the characteristic blue tones that will transform the photographs into new and very unique artistic expressions.
