In the third Roda da Tradição, the purely Minho act of sharing – through conversation, gastronomy and music – continues to be the central role of Clube Raiz.
As part of the Comer a Paisagem cycle, chef and performer Rui Lemos Souza challenges the community to join him in rediscovering local gastronomy by preparing, tasting and presenting a snack of their choice. This will be followed by a conversation moderated by programmer and archivist Armando Sousa entitled “Que braguesa é essa?”, where several local artists will discuss the past, present and future of traditional Portuguese music. Saturday afternoon comes to an end with a concert by Origem Tradicional, a major name in traditional Portuguese music and a regular presence on the region’s stages.
