Last Thursday, the municipalities of the Quadrilátero Urbano signed a partnership agreement to organise Square – Mapping the Atlantic, a Braga 25 project coordinated by Lovers & Lollypops.
The event was attended by the mayors of Braga, Ricardo Rio; Barcelos, Mário Constantino; the Councillor for Culture and Tourism of Guimarães, Paulo Lopes Silva, and the Councillor for Culture of Vila Nova de Famalicão, Pedro Oliveira.
The Square festival reinforces the collaborative relationship between the municipalities of the Quadrilátero Urbano in the cultural area, which already have a protocol in place for the Vaudeville Rendez-Vous Festival, a street festival that covers all four cities.
Square will take place between 29 January and 1 February 2025 in Braga, Barcelos, Guimarães, and Vila Nova de Famalicão. Learn more about the project here.
