‘Divertidamente Escola’ is the winning project of the Common Good Braga 2025.
‘Divertidamente Escola’ aims to show that the traditional teaching model can and should have room for new ways of learning and teaching, encouraging schools to adopt initiatives that make a difference and meet the particular interests of their young people.
The project aims to sensitise schools, teachers and students to the importance of a more horizontal education, which shows how the subjects of different disciplines apply to young people’s daily lives. In addition, it proposes creating more opportunities to learn about adult themes and more creative and sporting activities, in order to make the school and learning environment more stimulating.
This project was conceived from an idea by a group of 8th grade students from EB 2,3 in Real, with its origins in the Common Good Workshops that took place in eight schools in the Municipality of Braga between January and February, involving a total of around 400 young people. Now, the working group will develop the project, step by step, over the next few months, to give back to the school community an experience that promises to promote the well-being of students and teachers.
