One can imagine the use of any of the three instruments in the exploration of a discourse with quotations from minimal and repetitive music, as well as references to the festive jingles that populate the Minho landscape.
The cycle of concerts associated with the New Echoes of a Soundscape programme brings together professors and students from the University of Minho with other musicians from the region and are also opportunities to visit Braga’s historic bell factory, founded in 1932.
New Echoes of a Soundscape is part of the Braga 25 Portuguese Capital of Culture programme as part of the Todo-o-Terreno programme.
