Gabriela Gusmão is the April guest of the cycle Experimental Photographers, with the series Terragramas. These images reveal the vivid dream of the circular imagination, through devourings composed of earth and debris that intertwine in ouroboros.

The origin of this term is ancient Greek: οὐρά (oura) means tail and βόρος (boros) translates as devour. The symbol associated with hermeticism expresses the idea that ‘the whole is one’: ἕν τὸ πᾶν, hen to pān.

During Gabriela Gusmão’s exhibition, there will be a digital image processing workshop that dialogues with the works on display (22 Apr, 18:00).
