What would it be like to live in a land where there was only silence? Where fear was everywhere? This is the discovery that the participants in this third session of the Books and Action! project are challenged to make, based on a book written and illustrated by Catarina Mouta.
This is the narrative of what a boy and his community did to change the state of things. Renata Flaiban tells the story and the UMAR Braga/ART’THEMIS+ team leads a conversation to get everyone sharing experiences and reflecting. Beyond the words, the final challenge is to get down to work and produce a small souvenir of the meeting.
Books and action! is part of the Braga 25 Portuguese Capital of Culture programme as part of the All-Terrain programme/ The day the sun shone, by Catarina Mouta, with illustrations by Cristina Mouta/ Artist: Renata Flaiban – Rodamoinho Teatro/ Target audience: children aged 6 to 10 and over 65s
