ONYX’s bodies are moulded by many lives – they bring forms from other worlds, from the past and the future, imagined and loaded with what we build today, and things that don’t exist yet.
Deconstruction takes its cue from the vocabularies of street dance and clubbing, dismantling and intersecting them with music and words. Creating a space of ritual resistance, eroticism, celebration, vulnerability and power come together. Piny, an artist, architect, performer, dancer and choreographer, and dancer and creator André Cabral meet on stage, using a documentary and personal record to make the show dreamlike and political.
