Shopyard Workshop on Magical Entities and Poetic Narratives

In her artistic practice, Svenja Tiger explores the boundaries between reality and fantasy, drawing inspiration from collective fiction and folk tales. From these elements she creates links between opposites and blurs boundaries between beings, life and death, human and animal, terrestrial and cosmic.

The artist invites Shopyard workshop participants to create magical entities and poetic narratives inspired by Shopping Santa Cruz. Using textile transformation techniques, participants will develop forms and stories that inhabit an imaginary territory within the shopping center.
