A new library is rising in the Toolonlahti Bay area of Helsinki (Finland), designed to serve for at least the next 150 years.
What kind of library do we need in a world that is changing at such a rapid pace? And how do libraries change the world? These are questions posed by director Minna Joenniemi, author of The Library of the Future (2018), the first film in the Último Jardim cycle of short films and debates, promoted over the next few months by the Centésima Página bookshop as part of the Manifesto do Futuro programme.
Manifesto of the Future is part of the Braga 25 Portuguese Capital of Culture programme as part of the All-Terrain programme.
