The Shape of Neighbourhood is an architecture and art festival that, between June and November, offers a new perspective on the city and its urban growth over the past 50 years.

Eight architects were challenged to design temporary architectural installations for various spaces surrounding the historic centre, drawing inspiration from the stories of these places and the contributions of local residents through a participatory process.

Artist collectives will lead community projects and public presentations over the coming months, transforming these structures into meeting points to reflect on the meaning of neighbourhood in contemporary times, as well as the multiple identities and daily lives that shape Braga.
