A staged reading of Veraneio, a tragicomedy of manners that has enjoyed excellent success since its premiere in 2023 in São Paulo (Brazil).

It received four nominations for the relevant Bibi Ferreira Award, including in the Dramaturgy category, and had subsequent seasons and tours. The play, which has never been performed in Portugal before, is highly comical and critical of our times, dealing with the impact of the pandemic and the crisis on a family unit.

After the staged reading, there will be an open discussion with the author, Leonardo Cortez, mediated by playwright, actor and researcher Manoel Candeias.
