Grupo de Cantares de Mulheres do Minho and Conservatório de Música Calouste Gulbenkian de Braga

The authentic voices of the Grupo de Cantares de Mulheres do Minho converge with the young talent of those studying at the Calouste Gulbenkian Conservatory of Music in Braga, in a unique show commissioned by the Braga 25 Portuguese Capital of Culture.

The fusion of female voices resonates with an authenticity that transcends time, while the interpretations by the conservatory’s classical instruments elevate the listening experience in a contemporary approach.

This concert is the first creation presented by the Roots Club, a programme that aims to create an ecosystem for the celebration and promotion of traditional music in the city and region.
