Hotel Jasmine shows the intense coexistence between Jorge, a young man from the interior of Brazil who has just arrived in São Paulo in search of a job, and Fernando, who already lives in the metropolis and leads a life that contrasts with the other’s principles.

Placed by fate to share a room in a low-class hotel, the two gradually come to understand each other through shocks, revelations and recognitions, arising both from the confrontation with difference and from the frenetic dynamics of the city. After the reading, there will be a conversation with the play’s author, Cláudia Barral, via video call, with participation open to the public.
