Throughout this year, local and national culinary traditions will be combined with flavours from beyond the borders that have arrived in Braga in Porta do Comer, an initiative that is part of the Braga 25 Mediation Programme.
In the second instalment of the cycle, Portuguese chef Helena Carvalho and Iraqi chef Manar Matloob, who lives in Braga, will jointly reinterpret ancestral recipes from their countries of origin to create a fusion dish. Participants in the workshop will collaborate in the purchase of ingredients and the preparation of this experience, after which they will be invited to share the meal produced.
